LAS VEGAS!

Over Fall break my mom, Starlee & I drove to Las Vegas to go see Colby (Star's boyfriend) and for a fun little vacation. Shawn stayed home and watched Sophie for me to be able to have a true getaway. My pictures are totally in random order..sorry kind of a long story. I have no computer skills at all is part of what it boils down to.:( We had such a blast! Here are the things we did even though they are all mixed up.
Mandalay Bay shark aquarium. The crazy saw shark fish! We spent a lot of time taking the right picture as it swam by and we were laughing pretty hard!

Shawn and I went to Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas on our cruise. I Saw it in Vegas and made everyone go. It was loud, crazy and very yummy!

Drinking my DQ frozen hot chocolate (which they had never heard of, but attempted to make it for me) while shopping with mom at the outlets!

My mom and I were in the Venetian hotel and came across the red carpet for the Kardashian birthday party. We waited to see them but last minute security made us leave.

My very favorite part! We went and saw Phantom (which I had never seen and always wanted to), it was so so great! I loved every minute of it!! It was in the Venetian hotel. So amazing!!:)

We had a real good time! Thank you mom!!!! Thank you Colby and Star for giving us an excuse to come down. I got home and Shawn had put little glowing pumpkin lights around our front porch, had the house nice and clean, and flowers on our kitchen table! What a guy! :) Little Sophie was shaking her arms and smiling and giggling so excited to see me. She had a fun weekend with her grandma & grandpa Sandberg, Aunt Megan, cousins, and her daddy! Thanks babe!

Summer Days Drifting Away! Last Swim Day:(

Our last swim pics! I just love our swim Mondays with my mom & Brooklynn! My mom was in school a lot of the summer so it was mostly me and Brooklynn this year! We did miss our mom not being there as much but still had lots of fun taking our girls and hanging out!

Sophie's First Hair Cut!

My little Sophie is not so little any more. She is already 21 months old, 3 months shy of being 2. She is getting so big but yet I love her age!!! She is just so funny and such a sweet little girl! She talks, makes funny faces, runs, loves to jump on our trampoline, loves the slide, bugs and is such a good little girl! We love her!
She was starting to get a little stringy in the back of her hair, it was so fun giving her a little haircut!
I gave her a comb to play with, she knows exactly what to do with a comb.

BBQ & lots of fun!!

First off a little story about Shawn. Our friends Nick & Noelle's little boy, he is 4 yrs. old, was having his birthday party & loves motorcross! They asked Shawn if he would dress up like Chad Reed and come over for his party. They gave Shawn the shirt, pants, and boots to wear and he rode into the party on his dirtbike and did a few tricks for all the kids. So funny, I think he impressed all those little boys and Brigham loved it! Shawn had a lot of fun! At our BBQ with Annie and Nate, Shawn tried on his outfit for fun and did rides in our backyard.
Sophie loves going on rides on daddy's bike. Even when he just walks to his shed to get something she says "bike, bike." She always has to have a little ride every time he gets it out. I ride behind her of course...hold on Sophie!!

Sorry Nate, these pictures turned out blurry!! He was awesome on the bike too, considering only going around in circles in our yard. Ha!

Annie and I each ate a whole cupcake which is why we look like chipmunks! Her mouth is definately bigger than mine!

Our last hang out before Nate and Annie moved to oklahoma for Nate's Air Traffic training. Then they are off to Portland for good. We had so much fun hanging out and miss them already! Love you guys!!!!

My Bikini Baby!

I had bought Sophie her 1st little bikini awhile ago, because I love her little pop belly, and this last Monday is the first time she wore it. Before summer I tried it on her just to see what it looked like and she scram so loud like she was getting a shot or something. She Hated it! I kind of forgot about it and then saw it and put it on her when we went swimming and she loved it. I had to take some pictures of my little bikini baby. Ha!

BEAR LAKE!

Over the weekened of July 24th, we last minute decided it would be fun to go to Bear Lake! Preston and Shawnee live in Logan which is only about a 1/2 hr to 45 min. from Bear Lake. So we called them up and made our way driving to Logan on Friday the 23rd. We slept at their house and had so much fun!! Sophie & Cohen played, we went to Chilis for dinner then came home and played cards and did the Wii dance. Which was so funny...we stayed up until about 2am. then went to sleep. Thanks Prest & Shawnee for letting us stay with you, we loved it!! The next morning we went to Bear Lake & my mom, Brooklynn & her girls met us up there. We played on the beach and went boating on Shawnee's step dad's boat.

We would look over and Sophie would be laying on her tummy in the water. She is such a little fish...Loves the water!

Sophie was in heaven! She loved playing in the mud and did all day long!

It was a great last minute little trip to visit Prest & Shawnee, and we love Bear Lake and had so much fun! We went to dinner & had a raspberry shake and then headed home!
