Sophie Nicole Sandberg..7pds 14oz..191/2 in..born Wed. Nov.26..
our beautiful little girl.
My contractions started Monday night and lasted until Wed. Every 3 to 4 min, I was having contractions. Shawn and I went to the hospital Tues at 4:00am after being up all night, and I wasn't dialated enough so I got sent home. The whole next day still had contractions every 4 min. We went and walked around the mall trying to get my mind off the pain, but we had to stop walking every 4 min. while my contractions hit. That night around 9:00pm we went to the hospital again....still not dialated enough, got sent home again. The next morning, Nov 26, I had a stress test appointment at the hospital, because my doctor thought I would be late, by that time my contractions were worse, I was so tired from no sleep for the past two days. I called my mom to take me to my appointment because I could not drive myself. My mom picked me up and I by this time I was crying every contraction, I had no idea they could last soooo long. Anyway ended up getting checked one more time because I couldn't stop crying and finally I was dialated to a 4 and they kept me!! I was so happy. I called Shawn to come to the hospital and my mom stayed for her birth as well. I got my epideral and was in heaven! About 5 hrs later little Sophie was born, right on her due date!

So Sweet!

First day Home from the Hospital!!

So tiny in her little carseat!

Now the Two loves of my life. Our little family!

Sophie had Jaundice, her skin was a little yellow, so for the first four days of her life she had to lay in this little light bed day and night. When we first got the bed I just started crying that she had to lay in it in only her diaper, but she actually really liked her little bed, thank goodness, because she had to be in it for so long. I missed not being able to hold and dress her like I wanted to but now she is all better and I love holding her and having her right by my side during the day! She is such a good baby, we feel so blessed to have her in our lives!

Here she is glowing in her little light bed.

Sound asleep in her little bed. Being a mom has been quite an adjustment, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It is so much fun and so fun seeing Shawn be the cute little dad he is. She is a little miracle and we love her so much!!
